When is my delivery day?
How do I get more totes?
Send an email to sharedsystem@indypl.org. The subject line must contain the word tote or delivery. The email is autoforwarded to three people at IndyPL. The body of your email should contain the number of totes and your location. You may use your location code or your location name. (Please don’t abbreviate unless using the location code!)
How do I get more tote tags?
Send an email to sharedsystem@indypl.org and let us know:
- how many you need
- where you are (use your location code)
- whether you need them for holds and returns (To: S/R) or for sending in new books to be added (To: CMSA)

How do I find the barcode number if there’s no barcode on the book?
Look up the title of the book. Then look at the items attached to the title. Use context clues, for example, who owns the book, or who had it checked out, to locate the correct item.
If you know the student, and the book is still out, look at the student’s list of items out!
Can I get a list of overdue books?
Yes, and no, and sort of. We can give you a list; you can’t retrieve it yourself. We can send you a spreadsheet which will have a list of students with their overdue books or we can send you one page notices that can be printed to send home with students.

Do I need to change the owner of a record set?
Yes, you do, if you plan to share that record set. When first created, your username is the owner, and you are the only one who can see it. The Owner of the record set should be your school location.
