Finding eBooks

Lists

Readers will find lists of ebooks and eaudiobooks on the landing page of all Axis 360 sites. Scrolling down on the page, they’ll find lists created by theme or genre. Schools can create lists by class or teacher.

Clicking on the hamburger menu and choosing Featured Lists is a fast way to see all the lists without scrolling.

Subject

Axis 360 uses the same subject headings bookstores do. Click on the hamburger menu and choose Browse Subject. Depending on the subject, there may be lots of subheadings to choose from.

In the browser, you will see the subheadings in the same drop down menu.

Note that there are THREE fiction subjects, and they don’t show up in the subject list in alphabetical order. IndyPL is sharing 845 titles in Fiction  for adults and teens, 23,107 Juvenile Fiction titles, and 11,946 Young Adult Fiction titles.

In the app, choose Browse. The Fiction Categories are grouped together.  When you select any subject, the subheadings can be selected from the top of the page..

Search

You can do a keyword search in the search box, or select Advanced Search to narrow to just author or title.

You can narrow your search results by format (ebook or eaudiobook), availability or date. You can also sort by author, title, popularity or date.
